Based upon the book, Blow: How a Small-Town Boy Made $100 Million with the Medellin Cocaine Cartel and Lost it All by Bruce Porter, Blow is the story of George Jung (who is currently serving a 15 year sentence) played by Depp, who worked for reputed drug kingpin Pablo Escobar and is accused of single-handedly importing cocaine into the USA in the 1970's.
